Manila, Aug. 31 -- Two individuals have been convicted by the Regional Trial Court of Quezon City, and meted with life imprisonment, less than five months after their arrest for selling more than a kilogram of shabu, worth nearly PHP7 million, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said on Monday.

The conviction stemmed from a buy- bust operation conducted by operatives of the PDEA Regional Office - National Capital Region (RO-NCR) near a home depot along Quirino Avenue, Barangay Pasong Putik, Quezon City on April 10, 2026.
