Manila, Jan. 6 -- The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) is investigating one of its personnel for alleged sexual harassment while off-duty at a restaurant bar in Pasay City on Monday.

In a radio interview on Tuesday, PCG spokesperson Capt. Noemie Cayabyab said the PCG leadership supports the ongoing investigation against the suspect and has ordered a separate internal investigation into the incident.

"If ever na mapapatunayan, matanggal o dishonorable discharge. Ang pamumuno ng PCG ay hindi kinukunsinti ang mga ganitong gawain (If proven, they'll be fired or face a dishonorable discharge. The PCG leadership does not condone such actions)," Cayabyab said.
