Manila, Sept. 1 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is hopeful that the proposed measure seeking to ban political dynasties would be passed into law within his term, Malacanang said Tuesday.

In a Palace press briefing, Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary Claire Castro said the proposed anti-political dynasty law remains a priority of the President.

"Alam nating lahat na nais ng Pangulo na sa kanya ring pamumuno magkaroon ng batas patungkol sa anti-dynasty bill or anti-political dynasty bill. So, priority po 'yan ng Pangulo (We all know that the President wants an anti-dynasty or anti-political dynasty law to be enacted during his term.
