Manila, July 8 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is closely monitoring developments and has placed government agencies on full alert to ensure the country's preparedness, after Super Typhoon Inday (international name Bavi) entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Wednesday.

In a press briefing, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said Marcos has ordered the full mobilization of government resources to prepare for the possible impact of the super typhoon.
