Manila, July 15 -- Malacanang on Wednesday said the pursuit of justice remains the government's priority as it reviews the possible implications of recent developments involving the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) is assessing the possible impact of the United States' position on the ICC and will first brief President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. before the government adopts an official stance.

Despite the ongoing review, Castro said the government remains committed to seeking justice for Filipinos who were allegedly killed during the previous administration's anti-illegal drug campaign while ensuring due process and fairness for those facing accusations.
