LEGAZPI CITY, June 9 -- Malacanang has declared June 24 a special non-working day in Tabaco City, Albay, in celebration of the Tabak Festival.
Executive Secretary Ralph Recto, by authority of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., issued Proclamation No. 1286 to formalize the declaration, signed on June 3.
The proclamation stated that it is fitting and proper to give the people of Tabaco City the opportunity to enjoy and participate in the celebration.
This year's festival carries the theme, "Pagrumdom, Pagrokyaw, Pasasalamat (Remembrance, Celebration, and Thanksgiving)."
