Manila, Sept. 1 -- Malacanang said Tuesday there is no proposal yet to establish artificial intelligence (AI) data centers in the Philippines.

Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said no data centers would be built at the Clark Advanced Manufacturing Park, which is envisioned as an advanced manufacturing ecosystem producing equipment and components for AI data centers and other AI-enabled electronic products.

"On the Clark Advanced Manufacturing Park, there will be no data centers," Castro said during a Palace press briefing.
