Manila, Aug. 11 -- Authorities led by the Bureau of Customs (BOC) on Tuesday seized a drug-filled resin bunny figurine containing suspected ketamine weighing around 1,675 grams with an estimated value of PHP8,375,000 in Clark, Pampanga.

In a statement, the Bureau said the shipment came from France and was seized at a warehouse under the BOC - Port of Clark.

The Bureau added that the operation was in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), and Clark Inter-Agency Task Force Against Illegal Drugs.

According to PDEA, "ketamine is a dangerous drug classified as a hallucinogenic drug. It can sedate, incapacitate, and cause short-term memory loss, and because of this, some people use it as a date-rape drug."
