ILOILO CITY, June 1 -- Over 7,600 residents of two housing projects in Barangay San Isidro Jaro in this highly urbanized city stand to benefit from the PHP4.2-million pipeline project that broke ground on Monday.

The service expansion project of Metro Pacific Iloilo Water (MPIW) will install 500 linear meters of new pipeline that will directly accommodate the Uswag Residential Complex of the Iloilo City government and the relocation site of the National Housing Authority, with a combined total of 1,917 housing units.

It is targeted for completion in September this year, in time for residents to begin occupying the housing units.
