SAN JOSE DE BUENAVISTA, June 4 -- The health and medical program of the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) is expected to benefit around 53,254 qualified coconut farmers in Antique.

The implementation of the program was formalized through the signing of a memorandum of agreement between the provincial government of Antique, represented by Governor Paolo Everardo Javier and Rep. Antonio Agapito Legarda, and the PCA, represented by Acting Project Development Officer IV Engr. Dionelo Ongga for Regional Director Neil Melencion and Division Chief I for Aklan-Antique Gregory Tenoso III on Thursday.
