SAN JOSE DE BUENAVISTA, July 9 -- The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the provincial government here have ready relief goods for distribution to families affected by the impact of the inclement weather.

During the Pre-Disaster Risk Assessment (PDRA) on Thursday, DSWD reported it has 32,886 standby family food packs, while the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) has 1,223 sacks of rice and around 3,000 canned goods that they can augment, in addition to the relief aid from the national government.

"We have already activated our quick response team (QRT)," PSWDO social worker Jason Alagos said.

The QRT will take charge of distributing the family food packs and assisting displaced families.
