Manila, Aug. 25 -- An OCTA Research survey released on Tuesday showed that majority or 72 percent, of adult Filipinos feel safe in their homes and communities.

The survey, held from July 4 to 11, gave 1,200 respondents three options best describing their response to the statement: "We would like to know your opinion and personal experience about the issue of peace and order in your place."

Most, or 72 percent of respondents, chose "feel safe in the neighborhood," and 68 percent answered they are "not afraid to walk alone at night."

About half or 54 percent, answered they are "not worried about robbers breaking into the home".
