LEGAZPI CITY, May 28 -- The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) 5 (Bicol Region) has opened a twin-warehouse facility capable of stockpiling 80,000 relief goods and boosting disaster preparedness and response operations across the region.

During a phone interview on Thursday, Claudio Villareal, head of the DSWD-5 Disaster Response Management Division (DRMD), said that the new facility supports President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directive to deliver immediate aid to families and communities affected by disasters.
