BACOLOD CITY, Aug. 3 -- The Negros Occidental provincial government's SecuRE Negros comprehensive power security program is bringing renewable energy (RE) awareness to local government units (LGUs) and communities across the province through the Be REady Roadshow.

The campaign, organized in collaboration with the Negrosanon Initiative for Climate and the Environment, will kick-off in Cadiz City on Aug. 5, with succeeding events set in Bago City and Himamaylan City.

"The Be REady Roadshow is coming, bringing together local governments, partners, and communities as we move toward a more energy-secure, energy-efficient, and renewable-powered future," organizers said on Monday.
