Manila, March 12 -- The Negros Oriental provincial government and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) have collaborated to launch an online platform to manage consumer complaints more efficiently and conveniently.
Krystle Jade Bato, DTI-Negros Oriental spokesperson and head of the Consumer Protection Division, told the Philippine News Agency in a phone interview on Thursday that the online portal system is now operational, although some elements, particularly the backend, still need to be finalized.
"The online app, temporarily called the NIR ConsumerNet Portal, will act as a venue to lodge computer complaints which shall be forwarded to the agency concerned once validated by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)," Bato said...
