BACOLOD CITY, July 1 -- Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson expressed his appreciation for the service of the Philippine Army's 303rd Infantry Brigade (IBde) to Negrenses as the unit marked its 40th founding anniversary on Wednesday.

Lacson was the guest of honor during the celebration held at the brigade headquarters in Camp Nelson L. Gerona in Barangay Minoyan, Murcia.

"Today, we gather to commemorate and recognize 40 years of steadfast service, commitment, and adherence to the noble calling of protecting our people and our nation," the governor said in his message.
