Manila, July 5 -- The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) is ready with security measures around the Senate premises in Pasay City for the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Z. Duterte starting Monday.

NCRPO chief Major Gen. Anthony Aberin ordered the deployment of 3,250 Civil Disturbance Management and 2,900 Reactionary Standby Support Force officers to secure the area, according to NCRPO spokesperson Maj. Hazel Asilo in a radio interview on Sunday.
