Manila, May 1 -- The government has granted an additional PHP125 in cumulative daily minimum wage increases for private sector workers in the National Capital Region (NCR), the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) said on Labor Day Friday.
In a news release, DOLE said total wage hikes in Metro Manila from 2023 to 2025 have reached PHP125 under the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
The most recent adjustment of PHP50 took effect on July 18, 2025, bringing the NCR minimum wage to PHP695 per day.
DOLE said the next wage review cycle is expected to begin by May 2026, or within 60 days before the anniversary of the latest NCR wage order.
