Manila, Aug. 21 -- The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will add a new search option on its MayHuliKa portal starting Aug. 24, allowing motorists to check all violation records of a vehicle under the No Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP).

In an advisory on Friday, the MMDA said motorists may search using either plate number and ticket number, or plate number and motor vehicle file number.

The first option is for those who have received a notice of violation or traffic ticket, while the second allows users to view all NCAP violation records of a vehicle.

The agency said the new feature makes verifying traffic violations easier, more secure and more accessible.
