Manila, Aug. 3 -- National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director Melvin Matibag on Monday said Batangas 1st Dist. Rep. Leandro Leviste and former Rep. Jing Paras will be accorded due process as the Bureau summoned them to shed light on the supposed plot to frame Executive Secretary Ralph Recto.

"I talked to regional director Atty. (Emeterio) Dongalo. He is sending it (subpoena) today, which I already signed last Friday but closed after office hours, so it will be sent today," Matibag told reporters in a chance interview.

Matibag said the subpoena is for a hearing on Thursday.
