Manila, April 10 -- The National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) has expressed its strong support for four Senate bills aimed at expanding and strengthening the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).
In a news release on Friday, the commission emphasized that the move is a critical step toward breaking the intergenerational cycle of poverty.
During the Senate Committee on Social Justice, Welfare and Rural Development hearing, NAPC underscored that the proposed amendments align with the government's goal of transforming the poor into economically independent citizens.
