MinDA reaffirms support for anti-trafficking council
Manila, Sept. 11 -- The Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) reaffirmed its support for the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT), vowing to help transform vulnerable communities into centers of opportunity, dignity, and lasting peace.
In a statement on Friday, MinDA Secretary Leo Tereso Magno, who joined government partners, civil society, and the international community during the IACAT National Summit 2026 Solidarity Night on Thursday, expressed deep appreciation for prosecutors, law enforcers, social workers, and advocates combating trafficking in persons, online sexual exploitation of children, and modern slavery.
