Manila, April 15 -- The Philippine gaming industry is feeling the strain from the ongoing Middle East crisis, the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) said, citing the rising fuel prices' impact on business activity and mobility.

"Gaming jurisdictions globally are feeling the impact of the oil crisis, and even more progressive countries like Singapore, Macau, and the United States are not spared," PAGCOR chairman and chief executive officer Alejandro Tengco was quoted as saying in a news release on Wednesday.
