Manila, March 6 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Friday administered the oath of office to Sabuddin Abdurahim following his reappointment as secretary of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) during a ceremony at Malacanan Palace in Manila.
Abdurahim will serve another two-year term as head of the NCMF, the Presidential Communications Office said in a statement.
A seasoned public servant, Abdurahim served three terms in the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Tawi-Tawi from 2016 to 2024.
During his tenure, he chaired the committees on Business, Trade and Investment; Infrastructure; and Budget and Appropriations.
He also served as vice chairperson of the committees on Health and Education.
