Manila, July 24 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ordered the immediate mobilization of all relevant government agencies to intensify rescue, relief, and flood control operations as monsoon rains and successive weather systems continue to affect many areas of the country.
In a virtual press briefing on Thursday, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the President convened a situation briefing at the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) in Camp Crame, Quezon City, directing a series of urgent actions to mitigate the impact of severe weather conditions.
