Manila, April 18 -- Motorists can expect respite in the coming days, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. said on Saturday, as he announced a huge price rollback of PHP24.94 per liter for diesel, PHP3.41 for gasoline, and PHP2 for kerosene next week.

"Mas malaki ito kaysa sa rollback noong nakaraang linggo at malinaw ang ibig sabihin nito para sa ating lahat -- may ginhawang parating (This is bigger than last week's rollback and it means there is relief coming)," he said in a taped video message.

Marcos then urged all oil companies to implement the price cut in "fuIl."
