Manila, July 9 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. met with former United Kingdom Prime Minister Tony Blair at Malacanan Palace in Manila on Wednesday to discuss governance and public policy.

The Presidential Communications Office (PCO), in a Facebook post on Thursday, shared several photos of the meeting.

The PCO said Blair continues to play an active role in advancing discussions on governance and public policy through the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.

In a separate Facebook post, Marcos said it was a pleasure to welcome Blair, one of Britain's longest-serving prime ministers, to Malacanang.
