Malasiqui schools to hold incident drills after Tacloban incident
MALASIQUI, July 1 -- The Malasiqui Police Station will lead incident drills in schools this week as part of preparedness measures for teachers and students following the shooting incident in Tacloban City.
Lt. Col. Francisco Sawadan Jr. said Wednesday the incident drills will include such scenarios as live shooting indoors and outdoors, hacking, and mauling incidents.
"The drill is for us to know the readiness of the students and teachers and to improve in areas they may lack," he said.
An orientation will be held first to inform participants of what to expect and how they should respond, he said, adding that it will be a regular activity in schools.
