Manila, April 18 -- The Office of the President has provided hundreds of kilos of Benguet-sourced vegetables - free -- for various communities around the National Capital Region (NCR).
Local government units (LGUs) received the loads of agricultural products, purchased by Malacanang during President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr's visit to the La Trinidad Vegetable Trading Post and the Benguet Agri-Pinoy Trading Center (BAPTC) on Friday.
Quezon City and Pasay City were among the first LGUs to receive the goods, which were brought to Quezon City Hall and the Philippine School for the Blind, respectively, for eventual distribution to residents.
