LAOAG CITY, Oct. 26 -- Eight road safety teams from the Land Transportation Office (LTO) - Ilocos Region have been assigned to strategic areas to help ensure safe and orderly travel as motorists and commuters visit cemeteries and memorial parks to honor their departed loved ones on All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day on Nov. 1 and 2.

In a statement on Saturday, the LTO-Ilocos Region said the initiative supports the government's vision of zero road fatalities and responsible mobility for all during the anticipated increase in travel for this year's Undas observance.
