Manila, March 31 -- The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) on Tuesday reminded public and private motorists to observe discipline and keep their cool during the expected exodus of Holy Week travelers beginning Maundy Thursday.

In a statement, LTFRB Chair Vigor Mendoza II said public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers are responsible for the safety of their passengers and must exercise maximum restraint to avoid unnecessary conflict.

"Learn from the lessons of road rage incidents in the past. Wala itong na-ibubungang maganda at sisirain lang nito ang araw niyo (This will not result in anything good and will just ruin your day)," Mendoza said.
