Manila, Nov. 4 -- The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) on Tuesday assured support for thousands of "overboarded" motorcycle taxi riders, focusing on crafting measures for their welfare while withholding the details of its ongoing investigation.

In a statement, the LTFRB said it is constrained from providing all information on the investigation in the interest of due process.

The agency said its decision is not yet final because the motorcycle taxi platform provider has filed a motion for reconsideration.
