Livestock data systems to modernize industry - DA
Manila, Aug. 28 -- The Department of Agriculture (DA) on Friday soft-launched the Animal Management Information System (AMIS) and Livestock Registry System (LRS), laying the groundwork for its full rollout in 2027, as the government moves to modernize the country's animal industry and improve data-driven decisions on food security, production and animal health.
In a news release, DA Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. said this information integration will streamline the agency's response for the animal industry.
