Laguindingan eyes aerotropolis, cityhood under 2050 master plan
CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, July 13 -- The municipality of Laguindingan is positioning itself to become Northern Mindanao's premier aerotropolis and a future component city under its 2050 Comprehensive Master Plan.
During the municipality's convocation program Monday, Mayor Roy Macua said the long-term development blueprint envisions Laguindingan as the future Aerotropolis and Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) hub of the proposed Metro Cagayan de Misamis, anchored on the growth of the Laguindingan Airport.
