SAN JACINTO, July 15 -- The JDV (Jose De Venecia Jr.) Corner, featuring the life and legacy of the Pangasinense former five-time Speaker of the House of Representatives, was launched in various schools to inspire public service and patriotism among the youth.

Department of Education (DepEd) Pangasinan II Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Vivian Luz Pagatpatan said during Tuesday's launching that JDV Corners have been established in Manaoag, San Fabian, and San Jacinto national high schools, with another to be set up in Mangaldan National High School.

"This is for you. The life and works of Speaker Jose De Venecia Jr. will teach us powerful lessons. From an ordinary child he became a global leader," she said.
