Isabela City allots P19.7-M to renovate, upgrade 21 schools
ZAMBOANGA CITY, July 27 -- The Isabela City government in Basilan province has allocated PHP19.7 million to renovate and upgrade facilities in 21 schools in the city.
Isabela City Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman said in a statement on Monday that the reconstruction and upgrading of school facilities are aimed at strengthening the education sector and improving the learning environment for the city's youth.
"As part of the School Infrastructure Repair Program, facilities in 21 schools across the city are being renovated to ensure safer, well-maintained, and comfortable learning spaces for students and teachers," Hataman said in a statement.
