ILOILO CITY, July 30 -- The Iloilo Provincial Health Office (IPHO) recognized 127 stakeholders as health champions during the Health Excellence and Leadership (HEAL) Awards with PHP2.93 million in prizes on Thursday.

"This is a fitting branding as we give honor and recognition to local government units, health facilities, health workers, retirees, and development partners in health because of their excellent performance and leadership," IPHO Health Systems Support Division Chief Dr. Wendel Marcelo said when presenting the program's rationale.
