Manila, Aug. 21 -- The Sangguniang Panlungsod (City Council) is in the process of polishing an electronic system that will make its records, including ordinances and resolutions passed by the council since it started in the 1940s, accessible to the general public online.

Vice Mayor Lady Julie Grace Baronda, in an interview Thursday, said it is not just like a library, but the Records Management System will make it easier for members of the city council to conduct sessions and render committee reports, and for the secretariat to track the progress of the work at the committee level and the status of the legislative agenda.
