Ilocos Norte partners with DepEd to build more classrooms
LAOAG CITY, June 16 -- The Ilocos Norte provincial government is partnering with the Department of Education (DepEd) to ensure adequate classroom and building facilities for more than 72,000 learners from Kinder to Grade 12.
The provincial board resolution authorized Governor Cecilia Araneta-Marcos to sign a supplemental memorandum of agreement (MOA) with DepEd, represented by Assistant Secretary Aurelio Paulo Bartolome or other authorized personnel, for school building projects under the Basic Education Facilities Program funded by the 2026 General Appropriations Act.
