Manila, Sept. 22 -- For 1,167 public servants in Ilocos Norte, years of government work were celebrated Tuesday as a milestone of dedication, professionalism and commitment to the communities they serve.

The awardees received Length of Service Awards during ceremonies at the Ilocandia Cultural Center in this city, recognizing employees who have rendered 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 years and more in government service.

Among them was Sherlyn Nicolas, director for planning of the Mariano Marcos State University Extension Directorate.
