House to honor Dax Cua's 25 years in public service
Manila, Sept. 20 -- The House of Representatives will hold a necrological service on Monday for the late Quirino Governor Dakila Carlo "Dax" Cua, honoring a quarter-century of public service that took him from the provincial capitol to Congress and eventually to the leadership of the United Cities and Local Governments Asia-Pacific (UCLG ASPAC).
Dy died on Sept. 15. He would've turned 49 on Nov. 4.
The service will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the plenary hall. Cua represented the lone district of Quirino during the 15th, 16th and 17th Congresses (2010 to 2019).
