Manila, Aug. 4 -- The House of Representatives on Tuesday adopted House Resolution (HR) 1275 commending outgoing Korean Ambassador Lee Sang-hwa for strengthening relations between the Philippines and South Korea.

The resolution was introduced by Speaker Faustino "Bojie" Dy III, House Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander "Sandro" Marcos of Ilocos Norte and Rep. Marcelino Libanan.

"President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. recognized Ambassador Lee's distinguished service through the Order of Sikatuna, and under Speaker Bojie Dy, the House is adding the voice of the Filipino people to that expression of gratitude.
