Manila, March 13 -- The House of Representatives on Friday announced the adoption of a wide-ranging set of cost-cutting initiatives and modified work arrangements to streamline operations, reduce non-essential spending and promote more efficient use of public resources.

In a memorandum signed by House Secretary General Cheloy Garafil dated March 12, all offices are directed to implement the measures in accordance with Malacanang's fiscal discipline policy.
