Manila, June 18 -- The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), with support from other relevant government agencies, has disbursed PHP13.76 million in livelihood assistance to returning overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) under the National Reintegration Network (NRN).

In a news release on Wednesday evening, the DMW said based on its June 8 data, about 5,769 former and repatriated OFWs have so far benefited from the initiative.

Of the 5,769 returning migrant workers served, 5,013 were former OFWs, and 756 belonged to the recently repatriated OFWs
