Manila, April 26 -- The University of Santo Tomas (UST) marched to the UAAP Season 88 women's volleyball stepladder quarterfinals after eliminating Far Eastern University (FEU) in the playoff, 16-25, 25-20, 25-18, 25-16, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Saturday.

The Golden Tigresses, who beat the Lady Tamaraws thrice this year, will make their sixth consecutive Top 4 appearance since Season 81 (2019) when they advanced all the way to the Finals.

UST will meet third seed Adamson University in the stepladder quarterfinals at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, still at the Big Dome.

The Golden Tigresses have yet to win a game, and even a set, against the Lady Falcons this season.
