GenSan school student 'rescued' after posting online threats
Manila, Sept. 23 -- Police in General Santos City rescued a 15-year-old male student for allegedly posting online threats against an academic institution on Tuesday, police said.
Brig. Gen. Alan Manibog, direcctor of Police Regional Office -Soccsksargen (PRO-12), on Wednesday said personnel of General Santos City Police Station 3 and operatives from Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit 12 (RACU-12) conducted a rescue operation at 4:30 p.m. at the Barangay Hall of Apopong.
Manibog said barangay social welfare personnel and the City Social Welfare and Development Office assisted in the operation.
