Manila, June 21 -- First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos on Sunday paid tribute to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in a heartfelt Father's Day message, thanking him for his dedication as a father and husband while jokingly ordering him to take a break.

In a social media post, the First Lady said their children may call him "Pops" and the nation may call him "Mr. President," but she considers herself fortunate to call him "mine."

"Thank you for your strength, your patience, your terrible jokes and your big heart," she wrote.

She added life has become "sweeter, funnier and far more meaningful" because of their journey together.
