Families of Tacloban school shooting victims thankful for new house
TACLOBAN CITY, July 30 -- The parents of the three students killed in the June 22 shooting incident at the San Jose National High School here expressed gratitude after receiving permanent housing from the government through the National Housing Authority (NHA).
The beneficiaries were the families of Chris Lorenz Fabian, Ayessa Nicole Dazo, and Joyancee Separa, who died in the shooting inside the school campus on June 22.
Erbea and Christopher Fabian, parents of Chris Lorenz, thanked the government for providing them with a place they can finally call their own.
"We are grateful to the NHA. Now, we have our own house. We are also thankful for all the help from the government extended to us," the couple said in an interview Thursday.
