Manila, March 3 -- Fair weather will prevail over most parts of the country on Tuesday, the weather bureau said.

"Expect warm and humid weather, especially at noon and evening due to the prevailing easterlies," weather specialist Chenel Dominguez of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

Isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may also be experienced.

Dominguez said the northeast monsoon or "amihan" is affecting extreme northern Luzon and will cause isolated light rains across Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

Meanwhile, PAGASA forecast the temperature to reach up to 34 C in Tuguegarao, and up to 33 C in Puerto Princesa, Davao and Zamboanga.
