Manila, March 24 -- The prevailing easterlies will continue to cause fair weather and localized thunderstorms across the country on Tuesday.
In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) also forecast the easterlies to cause scattered rains and thunderstorms over Northern Samar and Eastern Samar.
Severe thunderstorms could result in flash floods or landslides, PAGASA added.
Meanwhile, light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will still prevail across the archipelago.
No low-pressure area is being monitored for possible tropical cyclone formation, PAGASA weather specialist Veronica Torres said.
